Power over Ethernet

Dear people on "MyopenRouter",is there a possibility to get the POWER OVER ETHERNET function on a Netgear router.Or is this a hardware change ? The reason i ask you'll this is is that other brands and i refer to the next Sputnik page  ;

have this function already on board.And in my opinion,the brand that Netgear is,the Netgears should have this function !!

So is this a firmware or hardware issue ??!! When its a firmware thing it should be a nice goal to add.
