The instructions for reverting back to stock netgear image after loading the open wrt image provided on the same page, located at https://www.myopenrouter.com/article/how-flash-open-wrt-or-return-stock-... , does not work for R7500 v2.
The openwrt image loads ok but logging does not work. I did not test port forwarding, vpn or other advanced features, but basic features including wifi seem to
otherwise work ok, it's just logging that is not showing up in the UI although syslog works fine.
But I wanted logging in the UI so I tried to revert back using the instructions and .bin file linked to on the above page, but after the router reboots it is still loaded
with ddwrt. I will try tftp to restore the stock image but please correct the instructions at the above page. If anyone has better ideas what I'm doing wrong I'd like to know.
Can you let me know if you were successful using tftp? I have never attempted such a thing.
