telnetenable on Linux doesn't work

I downloaded telnetenable from http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/11562/Solaris-Linux-OS-X-TelnetEnable-Utility/ .  I ran it as instructed, my prompt came back immediately, but telnet-ing there doesn't reveal the "BusyBox" stuff nor a command line prompt.

I seem to have V1.2.2.30_34.0.37NA firmware installed.

How can I diagnose what's going on?

I am using Netgear firmware

I am using Netgear firmware V1.2.2.44_35.0.53NA in my wnr3500l. I am able to telnet to my router from my linux pc using the telnetenable.linux executable (downloaded from the link mentioned above). This provides me the command line promt and also I used some of the basic commands(viz. ls,echo, cat), and those are working fine.

If you provide the link to download V1.2.2.30_34.0.37NA firmware then I can check it in my router.

Hi robertb,

Hi robertb,

The link you provided is asking for some informations which I have lost. Can you please email the firmware to me? If it is possible then I can give you my email id.
