Trouble with http downloads

My ISP provides me with a modem/router so I have to run a router behind router config. My 614L is in the DMZ of the ISP modem/router. The modem/router somehow shares the global ip address with my 614L (a networking impossibility really but true none the less) you should not be able to actually share an ip this way. All things work great .....FTP works great I have a web server and FTP server and connections are good. BUT when I go to a website like microsoft downloads and try to download a copy of winxp serv pack 3 stand alone lets say for example something of size....the download will stop and fail to complete its almost as if a keep alive is not working, this is conssistent on every computer in my network. Does anyone no of a setting in dd-wrt that would cause http downloads to stop before they are complete in a router behind router (DMZ) config or should I say double NAT enviroment?
