VPN Tomato or DD-WRT

Right had ordered a version 2 and it's never arrived, had to open a case with Ebay.

So in the mean time thinking i might just upgrade me WNR3500L version 1, Has Tomato got a decent config page - what I mean is VPN etc. USB support and the like?

I have a VPN connection from home to work and it's using putty at the minute.

I'd also like to use the USB if i can as that had a decent FTP on the orginal netgear firmware.

Any comments at all please?
