WAN DHCP client crashing on DD-WRT Kong mod 2018-2-14 INITIAL for R9000

Hi,

After upgrading to 2018-2-14 INITIAL, my R9000 started losing connection every day, seemingly randomly. Then it started crashing every boot, never connecting at all. In turning on syslog, I was able to find out that the DHCP client was crashing and never connecting the WAN. I unfortunately unexpectedly lost my syslog for after I downgraded to a prior version.

Reverting to 2017-12-11 INITIAL resolved the issue.

My modem is a Netgear CM1000, and my service provider is Comcast. Just wanted to report this here in case it helps others.

Thanks!

I''m having the same issue

I''m having the same issue with the May build. WAN will randomly quit working. A reboot may or may not grab the DHCP IP. It often takes multiple reboots to correct. I have an additional problem with the WiFi interfaces locking up as well. These two items do not coincide. The WAN issue is completely random. The Wifi issue is a mix of random and heavy network load on the interface.
