WNDR4000 issues

I have applied DD-WRT build 21061 to my WNDR-4000.

I am trying to connect it, repeater bridge, to a Verizon FIOS router.  While it appears to connect, it does not appear to connect on 2.4 / 5 GHZ, and I am having issues connecting to 2.4/5GHZ from IPhone 6.  Any suggestions on TKE/AES setting for security?  Wireless settings?

My other option is to connect to my Asus RT-N66R, which is configured in AP mode, and then hard-wired to the FIOS router.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
