I have a few older routers, still working pefectly well, but I know they're vulnerable to various security holes.
The last firmware updates I can find are from years ago, and don't address well known issues.
OpenWRT is missing 2.4Ghz wifi support on these routers. v17.01.5
DD-WRT seems to be stale, and has exceptionally scattered install instructions.
Linksys stopped issuing updates.
My needs are very very basic. Is there a project that's keeping security patches going for the oldest of the routers?
