NETGEAR 4G LTE Data Gateway 2200D

Is it possible to add some type of firmware to this 4G router?  I am a newbie to this type of forum and using this router for my internet, it is curruntly on US cellular I was hoping to have it carrier unlocked also if possible, any help or pointing me into the right direction  would much be appricatied
