No Internet after DD-wrt Flash

Hello, very new to all of this.

After succefully flashing my R7000 router to the latest dd-wrt Kong version posted(Monday, May 22, 2017), I have no internet access. I reflashed my old netgear firmware and it works fine (provides internet).

I followed every step from this link but do not know what to do from here, could someone please help me troubleshoot?

SOLVED
SOLVED
I did a complete power cycle on the modem and router ---> hardreset the router by pressing the reset button for 30seconds (this gave my router internet, but no internet access)

I had to clone my modem's mac address into the WAN section of the router setup. After plugging directly from my modem to my laptop, I found the address "network and sharing" ---> "Change adapter setting" ---> right click the "Ethernet" adapter ---> "Status" and copied the "Physical Address" value.
Shout out to the Netgear guru who helped me over the phone
