Is anyone developing for the R8000P? I have gotten looped into one of the manufacturer's forums on it, and it seems people are plagued with speed reductions (something i had on the R8000 prior to using tomato advaced) and having to reboot everytime they connect a dev. I wish the manufacturer would cowboy up and fix it, but i feel for the consumers, especially having been through the "tech support" process to no avail myself.

I guess the lack of any response means that the answer is a resounding, "No!"
I have been gifted a NetGear Nighthawk R8000p (Firmware Version V1.4.1.50_1.3.10); has anyone found any Firmware to use?
If not, is there any process I could follow to create one?
I have done so a few times for creating andoird mods and flashing those (such as modifying a stock ROM's boot.img to install a TWRP recovery partition) so if there is something similar that can be done here, I would like to try it - ANYTHING - if possible. Then I can post the results for everyone else to free themselves from this crappy stock firmware too.
Thanks!

I would STRONGLY recommend AGAINST doing that. You will probably brick the router.
