Compiling Tomato Source Code Netgear WGR614L

Have anyone try to compile the source code under ubuntu? and what version of ubuntu did you used?

Hi, I did tried it with ubuntu 8.10 and I get some mipsel-uclibc-gcc error. Something like /bin/sh: mipsel-uclibc-gcc: command not found.

How can that be worked around

I have install/copy/put the chaintool into /opt/brcm.

I am still not sure what is thsi chaintool.

Recompile the code and I get the below error

Hi, Thanks. I finally got it to compile. But under the /src/image directory I don't see the tomato_wgr614l.chk file. I only get the below

If you face any problem then I will install Ubuntu (same version that you would use) in my machine and try to compile that code.Really i am impressed from this post....the person who create this post he is a great human..thanks for shared this with us.i found this informative and interesting blog so i think so its very useful and knowledge able.I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this article.
