what kind of isp is it? DSL

what kind of isp is it? DSL or cable? also when your doing this you need to have your router coming off of the modem be it cable or DSL. you may have to use the mac address cloning so you have the mac that orginally setup the internet service. release then renew all of your DHCP records as well.

It's Bt On DSL, goes from Phone Line To Home Hub Then To Buffalo, i tried Mac Address Cloning Thats No Help, And I've Tried DHCP Renewing and Releasing. I Don't Want To Back To Tomato As DD-WRT Has More Features :/ So Unless I Can Fix It I'm Going To Have To Go Back To Tomato

The scematic you posted shows BT Home hub, is this the DSL modem? If so is it a router/modem combo?

Did you follow the 30-30-30

Did you follow the 30-30-30 reset?

I've got the same unit running DD-WRT without problems, so it'll work. Is it picking up a WAN IP address from the HomeHub? Are you using a different IP range on the LAN interface of the G125 than on the HomeHub? Have you left the G125 doing NAT?

its picking a wan ip up, The Range on HomeHub Is 192.168.1.---
and Buffalo Is 192.168.1.100 and on, does this need changing? how do i change the NAT feature?

Is 192.168.1.100 the WAN or

Is 192.168.1.100 the WAN or the LAN IP of the Buffalo? If it's the WAN then you've nothing to worry about. If it's the LAN then you must change it (I'd suggest something like 10.168.1.1 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0).

As for NAT, if the version you're running is similar to mine then it'll be under

Setup

then

Advanced Routing

. Make sure the mode is

Gateway

.

Shouldn't It Be Router Not

Shouldn't It Be Router Not Gateway As I Use The Bt Home Hub To Connect To The Phone Line?
IP Address:
Buffalo WAN IP: 192.168.1.64
Buffalo DHCP IP: 192.168.1.100 START
Router Ip
Buffalo local ip address: 192.168.1.1
Buffalo Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Buffalo GateWay: 0.0.0.0
Buffalo Local DNS: 0.0.0.0

In Router mode it doesn't do

In Router mode it doesn't do NAT, which will be the source of some of your problems.

Your other problem is that you are using the same IP range for both networks. You must not do that.

Set the WAN on the Buffalo to DHCP. Then set the LAN as follows:

Local IP Address: 10.168.1.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Also as i said, IMHO the

Also as i said, IMHO the better setup is if you turn off all of the routing in the DSL modem, let it just be a modem, and let the dd-wrt router do all the routing, you can hub off the router and would not have to do A and B class ip's should you need a list of A and B class subnet's and ip's i can post those as well.

Given the nature of the HomeHub I don't think you can make it dumb modem - it's an all in one DSL router with WiFi and a cordless phone.

Yes It Is All In One, And The Router Setup Page Is Just Rubbish

As I'll be running a

As I'll be running a different version (it's quite old) that wouldn't be advisable and would probably make things worse.

I assume you remembered to Save and then Apply the settings when you changed them?

So, in order:
1) If you SSH onto the Buffalo, can you "ping" the IP address of the HomeHub?
2) From a PC behind the Buffalo, can you "ping" the IP address of the HomeHub?

Are you trying to say that if you connect to the Buffalo via wire you can connect to the Internet, but if you use Wireless you can't? What is the "It" you refer to ("If I Use It")?

Are you trying to use the

Are you trying to use the Buffalo as a wireless connected router (which is what client mode is for)? You're aware that in client mode it doesn't allow connections to it as a wireless access point?

Did you read the Wiki on Client mode (http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Mode_Wireless)?
