How to: Creating an Isolated Network Using DD-WRT

I needed to create an internet connected public network using a single router (WNR-3500L w/ DD-WRT on it) and had to isolate it from a private network running on the same router.  I found a set of instructions on the net for a different router but had to modify them some for this router.

It took a bit of playing with, but I got it to eventually work.  I felt compelled to share my method - so I wrote a post up on my site.

I've tested the instructions on more than one occasion (thanks to a few typos while setting nvram variables doing other tinkering resulting in resets :P)

Enjoy!

That's pretty cool. I don't

That's pretty cool. I don't have a need to create a private network like that now but if/when I may need to do so, using your info, it makes it real easy.

Thanks for sharing it!
