hmm .. u need to have a usb-serial cable to access the console and see how far ur boot is happening properly ....
Most probably u have corrupted the flash n in the boot sequence u r not able to get the rootfs ...
these things will be clarified once u can access the console ....
i found a mobile phone cable ^^
but i dont now the polarity "bzw." the pinout
i have 3 cables...
some ideas?^^

actually I havn't use a mobile fon cable for this purpose so can't say much abt it ...
I used my own usb->serial cable ....

what if i test out with my serial cable?? i know ir worked sometimes but i forgot the pinout of it ^^

testing with multimeter will be safe .... u can do that ..

OK ... u first neeed to go through the spec of board to find its tx and rx pins ... Then coming to cable u can check using multimeter at two ends of the cable to find out its tx and rx pins ... then connect tx of board to rx of cable and vice versa and that shud do ....

basically one end of the cable shud be a USB end ....so from USB spec u know the tx and rx pin of d USB end ...
then using multimeter between USB end and other end of ur cable u can check out for the tx and rx pins ...
i have a serial phone cable .... no usb i`m sorry :(
