slowness

Hello,

I'm not what's going on, but when I installed the dd-wrt on my R6300 today, my linksys wireless usb that used to connect to 450 mbps now drops to 250 mbps, which I don't like. I upgraded to this firmware because I used it before on older routers, but I want to know is there something I need to do? Otherwise I'll go back to the stock firmware.

R6300 -DD-WRT - Running slow

I flashed dd onto my r6300, after about 2wks of running the stock firmware.

With the stock firmware, the router performed better then any router I have ever used.

After flashing dd, my Internet connection speed was faster(3mb up, 61mb down, ping - 9ms), on the 5ghz band. After about 3hrs, I noticed webpages were loading very slowly, I did a test again and my results were, .5 up, .17 down, ping was 347ms.

When I flashed I did the 30-30-30 etc., and followed all the procedures to a "T".

No output in Status|OpenVPN after enabling openVPN client

I enabed OpenVPN client and restarted router. In Status|OpenVPN there's no content in any of the three sections - State, Status, Log.

I tried with two Netgear WNR3500Lv1 routers, one running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/03/12) vpnkong - build 18050M and the other running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/31/12) vpnkong - build 19545M.

What's the source of information for State, Status and Log sections mentioned above?

How can I check that OpenVPN client started succsessfully?

Anyone?

L2TP VPN Speeds on R6300/WNR3500L/WNR3500Lv2 DD-WRT Much Slower, advice?

Hey everyone -- been using the original DD-WRT build for the R6300 for quite some time, and recently updated to the new one (available here).

I am currently utilizing a VPN through L2TP, and am regularly achieving these kinds of speeds on a 35 Mbps connection:

When I disable the connection and simply go through a regular connection, here is the result:
