AP mode and Dynamic DNS service, is it possible?

My home network setup goes like this: Alice router (router/modem) and one of its uplinks running to my Netgear WNDR3400v2 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 to its WAN uplink. My Alice box is running the DHCP service while my Netgear is in AP mode however, when in AP mode the feature to run a dynamic service disables. So I flashed my Netgear with dd WRT and can't seem to figure out if I can run my NG in some non-DHCP mode, receive its IP addressing from the Alice router/modem all while running the Dynamic DNS service. Any thoughts?

NETGEAR N300 (Model No. D1500) telnet help

*I've made text in bold and Italic those copy paste information to make the thread easier to read

Hello, I've bought this router not long ago and I was looking forward to telnet but I am starting to doubt whether it is possible or I am doing something wrong :

Tested telnetEnable.exe on Windows and the compiled version on ubuntu, basically this is where I'm stuck (the beginning)

SFP Port with WS-C2960S-48LPD-L

As we know, the Cisco WS-C2960S-48LPD-L has 2 SFP+ port. Can the SFP+ module in port 1, can I have a SFP in port 2? Or do they have to be either SFP+ or SFP?

Transform the NETGEAR EX6200 into a Wi-Fi Router with DD-WRT

Introducing: DD-WRT for the NETGEAR EX6200.

[Download DD-WRT for NETGEAR EX6200 at MyOpenRouter]

The EX6200 is naturally a Wifi Range Extender -- now, it gets a special upgrade using DD-WRT open source firmware. DD-WRT will transform this Range Extender into a full featured Wifi Router.

By default, the EX6200 has 5 LAN ports and no WAN port. DD-WRT allows you to use one of the LAN ports as a WAN port + 4 LAN ports. Since there are differences in features, I'm going to explain a few of the changes when using it with DD-WRT.

DGN2200V4 question

Hi, is there anyone that know how to open a port on the router for a local service running on the router itself? I mean let's say in telnet or in a C program to launch in telnet, I don't mean via the web interface.

thanks in advance

Unbricking DM111Pv2 modem?

Hi all!

I come here after asking on Netgear forums. I bricked my good DM111Pv2 modem upgrading its firmware via web interface to version 2.00.30.

Now the power indicator blinks red-green, it has no network activity at all (as checked using wireshark), it doesn't accept tftp transitions.
