Review of NETGEAR's WNHDB3004 Wireless Networking Kit

Bob Silver, an AV consultant, writes his review of the NETGEAR WNHDB3004 over at AVS Forums.  Not only did the networking kit solve several home networking problems for him, he also claims that it's as close as you can get to a wired connection with a wireless router!

NETGEAR's WNR2000 V2 is like the WNR3500 V2 router's "little brother." The case itself is almost identical, but inside it uses a less powerful 300Mhz processor and does not support 1Mb wired speeds.

It does support wireless 'N', however, and has an extensive list of features:

WGR614v9 Virgin Firmware and Netgear Firmware

i was hoping for some technical advise on a idea for the Netgear WGR614v9 Routers
there's 2 types of version.9
the normal Netgear v9 firmware
and a VirginMedia Netgear v9 Firmware
the virginmedia edition fail's to take the normal netgear firmware, so there's guides on the web how to Telnet and Change BurnBoardID, thus allowing to load the normal netgear firmware via the web interface.

Hi there

Not sure if this is the right place, so apologies if there's a better one, anyway here goes:

I've just recently got a WNR3500L and just put DD-WRT onto it, and its got lots of interedting and useful-looking features but it seems to be lacking the one of the things I wanted most of all - monitoring/displaying of traffic through the router to linked devices.

I bought a DGND3300 with intent to share folders between users on my network and save the space a adsl modem and an 8-port switch covers, I also thought that the device had the capability to put a powered USB hub and put a usb printer and an external usb hd, only when I received the goods, came the problems: 1) He has no access permission setting for folder by folder (even has configuration restriction but only for one user (admin), I click on the list and only appears that user (admin).
