cant access tomato website after switching from dd-wrt

I have been going crazy! I cant get past this username password page of the router. It still says DD-wrt when going to 192.168.1.1 and the default username and password wont work. Tried a hard reset twice to no avail.

I think I did something wrong when installing tomato over dd-wr. PLEASE HELP!

LAN Ports not working?

Hi!

First off, I am TOTALLY NOOB at Tomato (or anything custom), and I don't really speak "tech" :/

I bought a WRN3500Lv2 and I have installed Shibby AIO (tomato-Netgear-3500Lv2-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x--115-AIO to be more specific).

Basic, but important questions

Hello! New member from Sweden here!

I recently bought a WNR3500Lv2, and I have got some basic questions, but it's important that I get them answered, so I appreciate every reply in this thread :)

Issue with DHCP static lease - WNR3500LV2 and Tomatousb shibby

Hi,

I have just purchased a WNR3500LV2 router on which I have installed the latest Tomatousb Shibby firmware.

I'm using the router as a bridge (the router is setup in a wireless client mode, the static address of my router is 192.168.0.19)

I have plugged my raspberry pi on the router, I have defined with the raspberry pi MAC address a static lease pointing to the following ip address 192.168.1.1.

I have defined some port forwarding in ordetr to access my raspberry pi from the first network 192.168.0.X/24 and from the internet.

Very strange slow LAN (wired) speeds as Access Point

Hi!

I have a WNR3500L with latest Tomator firmware installed.

The 3500L is attached to a wall socket, which goes directly to a gigabit router with a CAT6 installation cable, to which my server is attached (via Intel Pro Gbit).

The 3500L is configured as an wireless access point (the only one in my house).

But apart from the wireless functionality it should also act as a switch, connecting a HTPC and a logitech squeezeboc classic to my network.

The HTPC only sees transfer rates of about 1 MB / s from my server.

Accidentally flashed non RT-N version on WNR3500L/v2

To make a long story short,

http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/37027/Toastman-s-Tomato-Firmware-fo...

seems to indicate that it links to 1.28.7503 but (at least for me) actually downloads 1.28.0503.  I successfully flashed it and had it running but was experiencing problems setting up my VPN client.

I had 1.28.7503 (non-RT-N) from an install on an older WNR3500 and, in haste, I flashed it to my WNR3500L/v2.  Now I appear to be hooped.

Lock ups during full speed download

Hi all,

I'm currently running a WNR3500Lv2 as my main router with Shibby v110-AiO Tomato Firmware. It's connected to the internet via a Cisco modem; my internet connection offers me 100Mbit/s download and 5Mbit/s upload speed. There is no problem with throughput - I can easily reach 120MByte/s on a local network (transfer between my NAS and my Workstation); also, I don't have any problems, if the servers on the internet allow it, to reach full speed (which is about 105Mbit/s).

Cannot log into my WNR3500L Tomato router

Router is a Netgear WNR3500L v1 running tomato. I have done the 30-30-30 reset (paper clip, 30 seconds on, then unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in for 30). It will not accept a username and password.
I have tried:
admin / admin
root / root
admin / root
root / admin
admin / password
admin / (blank)

I think you get the idea. If anyone has any suggestions, Please feel free to share.

Solid orange Internet Indicator Light

Hello, I recently purchased a WNR3500Lv2 and after dealing with several redirects from 192.168.1.1 to a sign up page I decided to flash to Tomato.  I used the firmware "Tomato by Shibby for WNR3500Lv2 083V-BT-VPN" and I was wondering if the orange internet indicator light is normal and or what it means?  I assume it is supposed to be green or blue.  I did do a google search but everything I found was generally unhelpful and mostly referred to an orange flashing power indicator light.  I can access the internet with the router and I have yet to experience any disconnects or other problems.

Need some basic help

I have a WNR3500L/U/v2.

I installed tomato a very long time ago:

Tomato Firmware v1.28.9054 MIPSR2-beta K26 Mini

Now I like to upgrade it, what do I need to do?  I found the webpage with the latest code but I am confused the upgrade page on the router asks for a bin or txt file but the webpage has a chk file.
