Does anyone know if port-share will work with openvpn on this router. I want to use port 443 for openvpn on the router. With port-share it is supposed to detect non openvpn traffic and forward it to the port of my https webserver.

Hi There,

I was wondering am I suppose to do anything special to update my firmware from Tomato by Shibby for WNR3500Lv2 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-105 K26 USB AIO V105 to Tomato by Shibby for WNR3500Lv2 109-AIO?

I noticed in the release notes (http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/38605/Tomato-by-Shibby-for-WNR3500Lv2-v109-All-In-One/)  there was a line that stated "- Allow WNR3500Lv2 to upgrade from Web interface"

Hi all !

 

I'm a beginer and I'm trying to setup correctly my wnr3500L (v1).

 

I installed ddwrt K2.6 on.

 

I plugged the wnr just behind my internet box (bridge mode). But when I plugged the cable between the wnr and my switch, I had no internet access on computers (dhcp was on).

 

So I tried to set the wnr static ip adress in another range : 192.168.0.99

 

Can't access web setup

I'm new to all of this, so i suspect i have done something wrong, but here it goes.

Just got my wnr3500Lv2 today, and wanted to install ddwrt on it.

followed the instructions and installed the new firmware.

progress bar seemed to be fine and my router restarted.

After this i am unable to access web setup through the normal ip.

Realised after this was done that the ethernet cable wasn't fully connected, and that i had installed it through my wifi, and i suspect this made it a problem, but i am not sure.

Multiple startup scripts?

Hi,

I am trying to telnet into WNDR4500 router but somehow i get a blank screen.

I tried telnetenable. It runs successfully but still i get a blank screen when using telnet.

I am on FW V1.0.1.36_1.0.63

tomato debian 7 compile

Thank you for tomato and thank you all developers!

I can compile KDB-RT-N for netgear WNR3500Lv2 on debian 7 kde.

 I only had to add the sbin(s) to path for the tools shutdown, shutdown.bsd error.

I updated with blind binary tftp, (pwr led 2hz blink) after the web update failed on the first try.
Reloaded a second through the web interface, no problems.
Tried on internet and wifi for a short time.
Seems to work fine....  Using it now.

Hi,

I have connected my WNR3500lv2 using the FDTI USB/serial cable and I obtain an early serial console but I get the following warning message during boot ...

VFS: Mounted root (squashfs filesystem) readonly.

Freeing unused kernel memory: 128k freed

Warning: unable to open an initial console.

 

and after that the console freezes for some time and then comes back.

I noticed that nfs file sharing is missing in 108-AOI english version firmware.

 It was avaiable in 105-AOI.

Maybe I am missing it and the menu is in a different place?

Have not tried 106, or 107 releases.
