The wiki tutorial did not help much so i am asking here, for dual stack operation to work, what radvd script is needed and/or any other script which would have to be added? Startup script etc?

Bricked WNDR3800 returned to life.. But not fully functional

Hi! Sorry for my english..

I've bricked my WNDR3800 and ONLY with a TTL-Usb serial cable, i can put a stable firmware on it.

All the nvram variables are blanked!! the ssid, mac, board_id, etc.. etc.. .
Only when i changed the nvram variable "hw_board_id", i can tftp a Netgear stock firmware (1.0.0.38).. And it seems to work..
I try to correct the mac addresses with the ones printed on the router's back. But my wireless still does not work.

I think some other variables are lost and is needed by wireless interface.

They recently added support on trunk: https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/7198#comment:53

Unfortunately they say that wireless will only work in g mode. Why?
Is there any possibility we will also have 802.11n working in the near future with that driver?

IMHO OpenWRT it's a way better than DD-WRT.

File structure of shibby 105-AIO

I'm having a little trouble understanding how the file structure works. For example, "df -h" shows the following:

/dev/root                 8.3M      8.3M         0 100% /
tmpfs                    61.9M    212.0K     61.7M   0% /tmp
devfs                    61.9M      4.0K     61.9M   0% /dev

Does that mean that /tmp is RAM and /dev is NVRAM? I notice that I can't write to any directories except /dev. Also, what are the /pts and /shm directories?

Telnet/SSH help

Useing the guides found from the wiki on setting up ipv6 with dynamic ipv4, it says i have to make a file with telnet or SSH /jffs/etc/config/6to4.wanup:

I have tryed many ways of doing this but apparently im getting it wrong as i recieve the errors of cannot cd to /config. What is the command line i need to put this file onto where it needs to be?

Hello guys,

I need your help with the following. 

I am using the router WNR3500L as a repeater bridge for my WIFI network. The primary router is a Sagem SKY router (I am living in the UK).... it's a quite shitty device but not much I can do about that ;-)

I have been useinf tomato but want to give DD-WRT its due time on my router. My problem is, the kongmod info page says

I am trying to configure my wnr-3500lv2 for a nfs server on tomato by shibby version  1.28.0000 MIPSR2-105 K26 USB AIO. Does anyone know what nfs version this firware supports. V3 V4 etc. I am trying to get it to run with VMware ESXi without much luck.

Hello together,

 

I have a new WNR3500Lv2 and installed the Shibbys Mod AIO. It works great thanks to Shibby.

 

A question I still have.

Is there a posibillity to shutown the router an wake it up on lan (or by time)?

I want to "diconnect" the WAN from the (cable) modem over the night without pushing some buttons.
