Guys,
Im running dd-wrt kong on my R7000 and would like to try tomato. Wile reading I saw someone said that they use a driver that allows speeds similar to stock firmware. But my main reason for wanting to try it is that Ive had a hard time getting Policy based Routing to work properly.

Hey guys,

 

I'm having a terrible time trying to setup a 3TB external drive formatted via ext3 to work and hoping someone could help.  What I've done thus far:

1. Partitioned the drive into 2 partitions, a 500mb NFTS drive; and a second drive formatted via ext3 and named "jffs"

2. Plugged the drive in to the router, and then enabled Automatc Mount in the USB tab of Kong's firmware.  The drives show up here as mounted.  But see below for the first "unsupported" issue.

I have bought the R7000 router and i wanted to change the radio bands but the default netgear firmware did not let me specify 2.4ghz to n only and 5ghz to ac only so i went ahead and installed ddwrt k3 and all was good however it was far to advanced for me as i havnt learned about ddwrt so i went to the update section in ddwrt gui and

I am new to the Netgear family and have been with Linksys for many years. I just bought a R7000. I love the router, but one of the main features that I miss having is the time restrictions in parental controls. Apparently this isn't offer through stock firmware. Is there any other way I can get this feature on this router?

Hi my name is Michael Hermenegildo, and I have bridged my router succesfully but it seems the custom software on the R7000 disables Wi Fi after bridging and only LAN ports work ... is this only for the stock firmware oe will custom firmware allow for wireless support in bridge mode as well?

What is the difference between WS-C3850-48F-L and WS-C3850-48F-S ?The two models are sharing same hardware architecture, the difference is the software, WS-C3850-48F-L comes with LAN Base, WS-C3850-48F-S with IP Base. And WS-C3850-48F-L can be upgraded to WS-C3850-48F-S via software license.
